March 4 - Another cold front is coming through. This far north in Florida you can expect any temperature. Usually it is warming up this time of year, but who knows this year. It wasn't raining today and had warmed up to an agreeable temp. I had planned on doing laundry for the past two days, but hadn't because of the rain. Today was the day to get it done. There was only one person in the laundry and he was using the dryers. I got the laundry in the washing machines and waited for the next step. Turns out the guy in the laundry was from Belle River, which is about 15 miles away from our home address of Tilbury, Ontario. After talking to him for a few minutes, I went across to look at the bulletin board. Before I left there another gentleman came along, to add a For Sale card to the board. He was from Goderich, Ontario. This is their home park. He has been RV'ing for 21 years and they have decided to hang up the keys. He was posting his membership here at 3 Flags for sale. If you are interested in the membership I have his telephone number. He is nearly giving it away for $300 and it also includes membership at "The Oaks" in North Carolina I believe. Soon the laundry was all dried, folded and put away. The rest of the day I tried working on this site. There is lots I want to add, it just takes time. Getting closer to moving day again. We hope the weather decides it is time for spring. I have promised to bring spring back with us, when we return to Ontario. I don't like breaking a promise. Mother Nature might have other ideas for us though. Time will tell. March 3 - We had to take a Wal*Mart run. We headed down US-301 thinking we had seen one in-between Bushnell and Wildwood. We kept driving. The first Wal*Mart we found was in Bushnell. It was raining cats and dogs, so Doug stayed in the car. I put the hood up on my jacket and made a dash for it. It didn't take long to buy what we needed. The rain was falling even harder on the way out. By the time I got to the car, I was soaked. Thank goodness for car heaters. We returned home to the coach and settled in for the day. The rain kept falling, keeping the temperature in the 50's. A good day to stay inside. March 2 - Time is passing faster and faster. Feb. 28th we went over to Beasley Mfg. Inc. at 59 S. Maryland Ave, Center Hill FL. We purchased 20 more feet of black sunscreen or rug, whichever way we decide to use it. If you are in Florida and need some sunscreen or rug that does not kill the grass, this is the place to go. They have a real nice selection of material and you can't beat the price. Well worth a visit. After we finished shopping at Beasley's, we continued on over to Red Barn in Bushnell for a nice visit with Peggi and John from RV Living . We always enjoy our visits with Peggi and John. We also enjoyed a real nice lunch at Beef O'Brady's in Bushnell with Peggi and John. What a nice way to pass the day. We returned back to our coach in Wildwood and called a RV Tech. This guy works after hours and doesn't charge extra. The RV Doctor is the guy to call if you are in this area and need a tech. He saved us a lot of money, because he was honest and considerate. I will be giving more details about him tomorrow. He will also be on my Tech page as the guy to call. Today we went to see friends Dave and Marian in Silver Springs. It was another great day. We had a real nice lunch and a great visit. Another perfect day, even though a little rain did fall. Feb. 27 - Lots of e-mail this morning. Just have to wade through it. There is always lots of spam to delete. I am glad that it is not coming to me on paper. What a waste of a good tree, if it was. One e-mail from our friends Dave and Marian caught our eye. We are going to see them this week and they have offered to take us on a driving tour of the area and then we are going to stop and have lunch at a restaurant they like. Sounds like a great day to us. We are looking forward to it. We also received a phone call from our friends Peggi and John. We are going to meet them for lunch tomorrow. We are also going back to Beasley's in Center Hill so will continue on from there over to Bushnell to have lunch with Peggi and John of RVLiving.net. We are going to have a busy, fun week. Our front air-conditioner is not working properly. Somehow we will have to get it repaired this week also. We will work it in. I have tried calling a couple of Tech's using business cards supplied by the park office. I received a call back from Protech 866-803-2359. Ed the tech called me back. I hadn't left a message, so he said he was calling back on a missed call. He let me go through what our problem was, then said the service call would be a killer as he was working in Arizona this winter. Would have been nice if he had told me that, right after I told him I was at 3 Flags in Wildwood, but he didn't. At least he did call back. He thinks we have a battery problem, but we think it is an electrical. The air-conditioner doesn't run on battery, so I don't know how he thinks it could be the batteries. Time will tell. Feb. 26 - It has really warmed up here. Great weather. I think spring is on the way and the warm weather has moved further north, to catch up with our travels north. We didn't do much of anything. I went to the local Win-Dixie grocery store which is just east of here. After I put the groceries away and we had lunch, I tried to catch up on this site. The days just seem to slip away with little accomplished. You would think I was retired or something. 8) The rest of this week could be busy, one never knows!
