Feb. 25 - We have been busy the last few days.  Today is a catch-up day.   That is catch up on some rest.  Yesterday we drove from Wildwood over to see friends in Port Orange - about 300 kms or 180 miles round trip.  We stopped for lunch in New Smyrna Beach on US-1.  It was a had better, had worse lunch so the name will remain unsaid.  We hadn't planned on going to New Smyrna, but somewhere along the line, I had missed a turn.  My co-pilot was busy looking everywhere except at the road.  He is not a good navigator, but I think I will keep him around anyway 8)  He has done all the driving for years and he now says it is his turn to look around and see what he has missed all the years he has been looking only at the road.  We finally found our way north on US-1 and Port Orange.  A few more turns took us back to where we should have been a couple of hours earlier.  Oh well, we found where we were going, so that is all that matters.  We had not given a time that we would be there, so how could we be late?

Our friends Joe and Agnes have just moved into their new home.  They have been building it the past three years, so are happy to finally be moved in.   Their new winter home is beautiful.  We enjoyed seeing them again and we enjoyed our visit.  The day really goes by quickly when you are having fun.  That was the case today.  All to soon it was time to leave and drive back to Wildwood.   The weather is great, we had a very enjoyable day, what more could a person ask for?  Life is short and we are enjoying it as much as we can.

Feb. 22 - We have friends coming over today.  We haven't seen them since November, but have stayed in contact by e-mail.  We are looking forward to seeing them again.  We spruced up the coach a bit and then tackled getting the Internet Satellite properly aimed.  Usually I don't have a problem setting it up.  We will see if I can get it today.  We moved it back to the passenger side of the coach and in a spot that I never thought we would get a signal.  I brought the computer outside and put it on the picnic table, where I could see the screen.  I checked all my settings and realized I had the elevation wrong, still.  I corrected the elevation, made sure the dish was level and BINGO, everything passed and I was online.

It is hard to believe that I could get a good signal aimed right at those trees but see for yourself

Now it is relax time.  Doug took out the lawn chairs and the new patio rug.  We sat back and waited for our friends.  We weren't waiting long.  Soon they pulled up.  They had taken a side trip to get some new patio rug like we had last week.

We had an excellent visit with Dave and Marion and will be seeing them one more time this winter.  We are going to see them next week in Silver Springs.

Several campers have been around to look at our 3i Communications Internet Anywhere dish.  It has turned out to be a good way to meet people.  Just another benefit of owning a Satellite Internet Anywhere system.

Feb. 21 - We were moved to Three Flags just east of Wildwood and set up by lunch time.  We have been to this park before back in 2004/05.  It is hard to believe the winter is nearly over and we only have one more move before we leave Florida for this year.

We had everything set up, accept for the Internet Satellite dish.  For some reason my brain was in neutral.  I had set up the dish, but when setting the elevation, I set it at 48.4 instead of 51.6.  I could not get my signal above 29 and could not figure out what I was doing wrong.  Finally, I said enough for today and went in to relax.  Sometimes the best thing you can do is walk away from a frustrating situation.  Tomorrow the problem will be solved.

Feb. 20th - It was cold again this morning, but soon warmed up.  Before we knew the day had really got started it was in the 70's.

Today is our last day here at Bee's and I wanted to get some photos before we leave.  I will be doing a review of this park in our new Campground Reviews section.  I will be adding the review for this park soon, with lots of photos of the park.

Doug and I took a spin around the park before putting the bikes on the rack.  We also put the stone guard on the front of the car, and Doug emptied the tanks and put the water and sewer hoses away.   We like having the majority of the work of moving completed the day before.  Then, if by any chance the weather is not favorable on moving day, we don't have to worry.  We also like the fact that we don't have to un-hook and hook up all on the same day.

Tomorrow morning we just have to unhook the electric, turn down the TV satellite, put the internet satellite away and hook the car up to the coach.  It will take us less then 30 minutes to be hooked up and on the road.  We don't have far to go.  We are only moving 28 kms. or 18 miles tomorrow.  When we arrive it will take about 30 minutes to be set back up.  See you then.

Feb. 19 - Monday started out frosty.  The windshield of the car told the story of how cold it had been overnight.

Slowly the thermometer pushed its way above the 40 F level.  By the end of the day we were well into the 60's.

We have been able to avoid this type of weather nearly all winter.  Neither one of us felt like braving the cold.  We had another people watching day.  We do have a good view for people and bird watching, without leaving our comfy couch.

Tomorrow is supposed to be warmer.  We hope so, as we need to get outside.
