We stayed at this park in the fall of 2005. It is about 35 miles east of Quartzsite. Some say the Salome area will be the next Quartzsite as the vendors are pushed out of Quartzsite.

The park is like a large gravel parking lot, but nearly all of the parks in Arizona are like this. Arizona is mainly gravel. At least there are no sand burrs here. We enjoyed our stay at this park, but it is many miles to go anyplace to do shopping. There is a little grocery and liquor store in Salome, where we were able to purchase anything we needed in the way of groceries. It is more expensive then the box stores, but that is to be expected. We had stocked up on groceries before coming here. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful. Everyone is friendly and we would go back to this park, if in the area.
