Things that work for Us We kept buying sewer hoses and they kept springing leaks. We were so tired of the mess and all the room the hoses took up. Every couple of weeks we were buying new ones, then we saw the Sewer Solution. Check it out for yourself We also bought the extension in case we needed the extra length.
It is great. No muss While still on the subject of dealing with black water - we have tried numerous chemicals to control odor. They all claim to work, but getting the job done is another matter. We won't name all the products that we have tried. You can look in any store that carries products for black water and you will know all the ones we have tried. We faithfully flush our tanks as recommended by the experts and were still having a problem. This summer we finally found the answer. It puts a liquid seal on the contents and does the job just great. Our search is over. We will not be looking for a new solution. We now use TST exclusively. TST comes in granular and liquid. They also make odor control for your gray water. Wish we had used these products from the beginning. The experimenting was not a fun experience!!!
Ever wonder how to stay in touch, without a cellphone, while on the road? I have signed up for a Yahoo voice netphone number. It cost me under 30.00 US$ a year. I received a telephone number that I chose and voice mail. Now I don't have to worry about being in cellphone coverage, or use my cellphone in fringe coverage areas to keep in touch. Family, friends and business, can all call my web-based phone number and leave a message. They don't use up my cellphone minutes playing cell tag, and I can call them back, or if they call when I am connected to the net, I can answer the call, the telephone number that is calling, pops up in a bubble at the bottom of the computer screen. If I have internet connection I can retrieve my voice mail and save it to my hard-drive. With my 3i Communications Internet Satellite I am always on the net. It works great, is really simple to use, and the only extra thing I purchased was a headphone with microphone. Now I can stay in touch, no matter where we are at. I also have the out option for the netphone. I can call all over the US for $0.02 a minute and Canada for $0.01 a minute. Because of the delay with the satellite, I use it like a CB by saying "over" or the person's name to let them know that I have finished speaking. Works great, and is a very cost efficient alternative to a cellphone. Check it out for yourself. After you sign up, Yahoo sends a password to activate your out voice. If you try to make a call, before you get the password and finish the activation, your voice will break up on the other end. Don't be discouraged. All you need is to finish the activation. Well worth the extra time and effort it takes to activate.
