We hope all the Dads had a very Happy Father's Day!

Well, we are officially empty nesters again 8)

Jody came out on Father's Day and took Doug and I out for breakfast.  When we came back, Jody had a look at the condo on the back ladder.  He reached up and touched the tail feathers of Mother Morning Dove.  She took off and this is what we saw

You can see two not so baby Morning Doves sitting on the nest.

Monday morning I heard Mother Morning Dove softly calling.  Doug had a look when we were leaving to go to Chatham and SURPRISE!!! the nest was empty.  We have seen them practicing flying a few times since then.  They have really grown and are the same size as Momma now.

That was the exciting part of our week.  Monday was the last work day for me in June.  Doug had his COPD class on Thursday and we did a lot of running from here to there, getting things done.

We have been having some beautiful days here.  Summer is officially here.

This will be another short post because of the lack of exciting things happening.  I am doing some other work on the site though and will post the link when I get everything the way I want it.

Hope you all have a good week and we will see you next week!
