This has been another cool week. We have had days of sunshine and wind. It depends on which way the wind is coming from, whether it is nice outside or not. If the wind is coming across the bay it is cold. The water hasn't warmed up yet. Our week has been very busy with Doctor appointments for Doug, along with all the associated medical test. He is going to be busy for several more weeks. Our new Doctor is very thorough, and Doug is happy to jump through all the hoops that she has lined up for him. Hopefully Doug will be like brand new, when it is time to start south this fall. I worked on Friday and it was good to be back, catching up on all that had happened at the office, since the last time I worked. Saturday we went to Jody and Rachael's for a big Mother's Day celebration. Rachael had invited her Grandma and Grandpa, Mom and Dad, brother and fiance, along with her two sisters and family. We all had a great time. They had prepared a large bar-b-q, with everyone eating to much. It was so good and made better because us "Mom's" didn't have to do anything, not even the dishes. We like days like that. Sunday, Doug took me out to breakfast at Yack's Grill House on Erie St. S in Ridgetown. We had gone there once before for breakfast which was okay. This one was no better, so I guess we should look for another place to have breakfast. We would rather eat at home, then eat a ho-hum meal out. After breakfast, we went to Evergreen Cemetery in Blenheim to place a flower saddle on Doug's parents grave. This is a tradition we follow every Mother's Day. We would also go to my Parent's final resting spot on this day and Father's Day, but my Parent's are at rest six hours drive away. I am there in though, even though I am not there in person. We both miss our Parents as I am sure all people do, who have lost their parents. We hope that all the Mothers in the world had a great Mother's Day. I haven't broke this weeks post down into days. There wasn't much happening, accept for the Doctor appointments. When we have more to report on a daily basis, I will do so, otherwise I will be posting a weekly update. We hope you all had a good week and we will see you next time.
