We stayed at Northgate on our way home this spring (March 2007). This is a new park and a member of Passport America. Northgate RV Travel Park 1757 Hwy. 31. N. Description: They are located almost at the end of the exit ramp at exit 354 on I-65 in north Alabama. They have 20 sites. All are pull through and all have 30&50 amp service, great city water pressure and city sewer. The park is clean and safe. They have lots of animals to see. There is pasture land on three sides of the park. They have geese, cattle, goats, sheep, donkeys, a horse and of course there is Dottie the dog. She patrols the grounds. Here is a couple of photos of this nice new park.
The other animals mentioned where there, just to far away for me to get a photo of them. This park is easy on and off of I-65 at exit 354. The park is near the end of the ramp from I-65 onto S-72. The park is far enough away off of I-65 to be very quiet at night. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The sites are easy to get into and out of. We will be going back to this park when we are in the area. Nov. 2007 - We stayed here on our way west for one night with Passport America. It is still a real friendly place. They now have free WIFI and the signal was excellent in all areas of the park. The park is much busier at this time of year so make sure you phone ahead to avoid being disappointed. They also have weekly and monthly rates if you are interested in staying longer.
