We purchased our truck with the running boards and mud flaps already installed.  If it did not have these two items, then we would have installed them.

The running boards makes it much easier for me to get in and out of the truck.  The running boards also protect the bottom of the doors from road grime and road hazards.  They are well worth the cost and effort of installation. They also help to give the truck a custom look.

The mud flaps are another must have item.  They stop road grime and small objects that are picked up by the tires, from hitting the body of the truck.  They also help to deflect any objects on the road, from hitting the front of the trailer.  Another advantage of mud flaps are they also add to the custom look of the truck.

Another very important item we installed is window visors.   They are easy to install and have many benefits.  Two of them being that you can leave the windows down a bit to let ventilation into the closed up truck.  It doesn't matter if it is raining or not because the interior is protected from the elements.  They also look very nice and add to our custom truck look.
